Cookie policy

Last updated: Reading time : 3 min

This page explains the cookie position of this static editorial site before any publisher-added tools are enabled.

Current cookie position

The static files do not set cookies by themselves. They consist of HTML pages, text prompt files for image production and a local stylesheet for the hub page.

The site does not include analytics scripts, advertising tags, embedded media, consent-management tools, affiliate-tracking scripts, live chat widgets or third-party account tools that would set browser cookies.

No vendor list without active tools

No cookie names, analytics vendors, advertising networks, tracking providers or consent-tool vendors are listed here because no such tools are present in the public files.

A cookie table should only describe cookies that the published site actually sets or that are set by tools actually enabled by the publisher. If tools are added later, the table should be based on the real provider documentation and a real scan of the live site.

What may change after launch

Cookies or similar browser storage may appear if the publisher later adds analytics, advertising, embedded videos, consent banners, affiliate tracking, social media embeds, live chat or other third-party scripts.

The exact names, purposes, lifetimes and controls would depend on the services actually added. This policy must be updated before those services are enabled or before a changed version of the site is published.

Server logs are separate from cookies

Hosting providers may keep server logs after publication. Server logs are not browser cookies and are not stored in the reader’s browser, but they can still involve technical information such as IP address, request time, requested file and browser details.

The publisher should review the hosting setup and make sure the privacy information reflects any server-side processing, security monitoring or log retention that applies.

Reader controls

If cookies are added later, readers can usually block or delete them through browser settings. Available controls vary by browser, operating system and device.

Because this site currently has no cookie-setting tools of its own, it does not include a cookie preference panel. A consent or preference tool should be added only if the publisher enables services that require one.

Update checklist for the publisher

Before adding analytics, adverts, embeds, affiliate tracking or consent tools, the publisher should identify the provider, confirm what cookies or similar technologies are used, describe the purpose of each tool and explain how readers can manage their choices.

The cookie policy should also be checked again after publication changes, because a new script, plugin, hosting feature or embedded service can change the cookie position of the site.
